The Nexus 5 is still, imo, the best phone there is. When the battery inside it began to fail me, I knew it was time for some surgery.

With $15 worth of tools/parts and 15 minutes, during which I got a bit dizzy because focusing up close with my contact lense prescription strains my eyes, I gave my brain enhancement device a new lease on life. Once the new battery was in place, I tried it out to make sure it would hold a charge. Satisfied with my repair-earned nobility, I gave the parts some good compressed air dusting and put it all back together in reverse order.
