My partner dropped his MacBook Pro and damaged the top case

When arriving home from a holiday, my partner's MacBook Pro was in a soft bag that he left on top of the kitchen counter. As he went into the garden, the bag collapsed and spread it's contents over the flag-stone floor - including the MacBook. Result, a bent upper case.

Like a dream! Ordered the parts from ifixit.com, plus an ifixit t-shirt so I could feel like a pro completing the work. The parts & tools arrived in phenomenally quick time! I'm in the UK, and a combination of ifixit.com and FedEx made it feel like the package arrived in hours from the States.
