Bought my son a Kindle Fire HD7 16gb 2nd Gen for Christmas. He was so excited he ran to show it off to his Mom. Next thing you know WHAM ! He runs into the table and drops it. Broken digitizer screen and broken heart.

First off you had the only 2nd gen Kindle Fire HD7 front panel in the country and at a good price. the 2013 Kindle Fire Hd7 (without camera) is rare. Product arrived before expected date. plastic tools I ordered opened case in a snap (without snapping case LOL) Easy removal and perfect replacement. LIKE NEW

Do your homework on exactly which verson Kindle you have.

Definitely use plastic opening tool on Kindle as it is very soft. Buy a good small torx bit set, do not use wrong tool.

Take your time make sure ribbons are all the way in and there you go. Repair shop wanted $140.00 bucks. GO TO IFIXIT, FIX YOUR DEVICE AND FIX A KIDS BROKEN HEART. Thank You All, Jay
