I wanted to change the display of a friend's iPhone 5s. I don't know exactly how it happened but the screen was shattered. She has two small kids so they probably had something to do with it :-)

The repair went pretty well. The first time I tried to turn it on it didn't turned on, it would vibrate multiple time but the screen didn't respond...but I quickly found the solution in the "Answers" section. I just had to open again the iphone, unplug the battery connector, press shortly the on/off button, plug the battery connector back to the main board and boom it worked.
After that I had another little glitch: the phone didn't find any signal. On the up left corner it was written "searching". Unfortunately I don't exactly know what fixed the problem. I did a reset of the network settings, but didn't fix the problem right away. Then I did something else (sorry but I forgot what, besides praying...) and after a while it asked the sim card pin code and it worked!

If you encounter any problem look for the solution in the "Answers" sections....it was really helpful for me.
