Calling all Samsung Galaxy fans: If your Galaxy needs a little pick-me-up, you’re in luck! iFixit now offers genuine Samsung parts for Galaxy S20 and Galaxy S21 series, along with the Galaxy Tab S7+. Samsung Galaxy users can finally take self-repair into their own hands with genuine parts—and we’re stoked for Samsung to join us on our march towards repairability!
Starting today, replacement screens*, back glass, and charging ports are available on iFixit.com as individual components or in Fix Kits with all the parts and tools required to get your Galaxy into tip-top shape. Our collection of genuine parts keeps expanding, and of course our repair guides are, too: every new part has a polished guide to help you finish your latest Galaxy fix.
Initially, these Samsung Galaxy genuine parts are only available in the US—but we’re working towards more devices and additional comprehensive parts,.
Samsung is one of the biggest smartphone manufacturers in the world, and iFixit is the world’s biggest online repair resource. Together, we can make repair an integral part of manufacturing and owning consumer electronics. We’re proud to have collaborated with Samsung to build a self-repair program to make their phones last longer, help consumers save money, and benefit the environment by reducing e-waste.
It’s great to see Samsung encourage their users to fix their stuff when it breaks instead of always chasing the upgrade or contributing to e-waste in landfills, and we look forward to many more manufacturers following suit.

Being the owner of a Galaxy S9+ in Australia, this feels like a "better than a kick in the teeth" situation. It's not nothing, but currently means little or nothing to people in my situation.

A good step forward, great. But that asterisk < *Display assemblies that consist of the phone screen, metal frame, bezel, and battery to replace the display > is rather disappointing. If I only need a screen? e-waste. Looking forward to improvements in the program to optimize repairs.

Trust me, replacing ONLY the LCD is a much more difficult task. Plus the device would never be water resistant again. It would also add about 2 hours to the repair for an experienced technician. The repairability is much better this way with only the back glass seal to work about.
