  • Peel up the black pull tab at the top of the battery, and pull slowly but firmly to separate the battery from the adhesive holding it in place.

  • The battery separates more easily if you add a few drops of isopropyl alcohol along each side, to soften the adhesive beneath. High concentration (90% or greater) alcohol will not harm your phone's components.

  • Heating the area behind the battery can also help soften the adhesive, but be very careful not to overheat the battery.

  • If the pull tab breaks, use a spudger or an old credit card to pry up carefully on the edges of the battery until it comes loose.

  • Don't deform or puncture the battery—it can catch fire and/or explode if damaged.

  • Never reinstall a damaged or deformed battery. Replace the battery.

Peuter de zwarte treklip aan de bovenkant van de batterij los en trek deze langzaam maar stevig onder de batterij weg om de batterij van de lijm eronder te scheiden.

De batterij komt makkelijker van de lijm los als je een aantal druppels isopropyl alcohol langs alle kanten toedient en zo de lijm verzwakt. De hooggeconcentreerde (>90%) alcohol zal geen andere onderdelen aantasten.

Je kunt er ook voor kiezen om de lijm onder de batterij te verwarmen, maar wees hierbij voorzichtig en zorg dat je de batterij niet oververhit.

Als de kleefstrip met treklip scheurt of afbreekt, kun je een spudger of een oude creditcard gebruiken om alle kanten van de batterij op voorzichtige wijze omhoog te wrikken totdat de batterij los komt.

Vervorm of doorboor de batterij niet, aangezien deze in dat geval in brand kan vliegen en/of kan exploderen.

Herinstalleer of hergebruik nooit een reeds gebruikte batterij. Vervang deze altijd door een nieuwe.
