Teardown

  • The victim. Any T520 will work with this upgrade. Even the most basic configurations can take advantage of a top of the line display. The Thinkpad T510, W510, T520, W520, T530 and W530 will all also work for this upgrade.

  • The first step is to remove the three covers along the bottom of the bezel and the screws underneath. The point of an exacto knife works well for this.

  • Three adhesive covers.

  • Three 6mm Phillips screws.

Ausbau

Das Opfer. Jeder T520 kann von diesem Upgrade profitieren – sogar Modelle mit nur den grundlegendsten Funktionen. Dasselbe Upgrade lässt sich bei den Thinkpad T510, W510, T520, W520, T530 und W530 durchführen

Der erste Schritt ist das Entfernen der drei Abdeckungen entlang der unteren Seite des Bildschirms und der darunterliegenden Schrauben. Die Spitze eines Skalpells eignet sich hierfür hervorragend.
