  • With the motherboard on ice, we're finally able to tweeze out the dual camera module.

  • Either Essential accidentally put these camera pop connectors on backwards, or someone had too much fun figuring how to origami them into place.

  • Nearby, the selfie cam lies on a strip of glue and takes a little more work to extract, bringing the front-facing sensor cable along for the ride.

  • Surprise! The front-facing camera and earpiece speaker come as a single part. That tiny port lines up directly with the über-slim grille at the top of the phone!

  • The small flex cable terminates with possibly an AMS TMD3700 color sensor.

Une fois la carte mère sur glace, nous sommes enfin en mesure de sortir le module de la double caméra.

Soit Essential a monté accidentellement ces connecteurs pop de la caméra à l'arrière, soit quelqu'un aime tellement l'origami qu'il s'est amusé à les mettre dans une telle position.

A proximité, la caméra selfie se trouve sur une bande de colle et requiert un peu plus de travail pour l'extraire, ce qui fait enlever la nappe du capteur avant en même temps.

Surprise ! La caméra frontale et le haut-parleur interne viennent en un seul bloc. Ce petit port s'aligne directement avec la grille hyper fine en haut du téléphone !
