Separate the display from the frame

  • The glass backing of the display is secured to the metal frame with adhesive strips. Slowly and gently pry the two apart.

  • Note: it is very difficult to do this without breaking the glass. Go slowly and don't apply a lot of force.

  • If you break the glass, make sure you have cleared away all pieces of it before attempting to install the new display.

Bildschirm vom Rahmen trennen

Die gläserne Rückseite des Bildschirms ist mit Klebestreifen am Metallrahmen befestigt. Die Metallfläche gleichmäßig mit einem Fön erhitzen. An einer Längsseite langsam zwei Plastikkarten zwischen Bildschirm und Metallrahmen schieben. Dasselbe auf der anderen Längsseite. Die beiden Teile langsam und vorsichtig auseinanderziehen.

Achtung: Bei diesem Schritt kann man den Bildschirm sehr leicht zerbrechen. Arbeite langsam und wende nur wenig Kraft an.

Falls das Glas bricht, müssen natürlich alle Glassplitter restlos entfernt werden, bevor man einen neuen Bildschirm einbaut.
