  • As the 6 series is slightly higher, we need to make a little space on the plastic holder which is beneath the card.

  • Remove the plastic part, which is shown on the 2nd picture, by removing one screw and carefully pull it from the aluminium case.

  • It's fastened with tape so don't worry about breaking anything.

  • After wiggling and navigating it around the cables, you should have it in your hands.

  • The rectangular space, in picture three where the large cable goes through, use a rotary tool to make it about 5mm wider and 2-3mm deeper.

  • The third image shows the final result we want to achieve.

  • The primary reason for this step is the heatpipe of the 6 series, which takes more space.

  • Note: This is ONLY necessary on the late 2009 model, the 2010 models already have enough room.

Dato che la Radeon serie 6 è leggermente più alta, dobbiamo fare spazio sul supporto in plastica sotto alla scheda.

Rimuovi la parte in plastica mostrata nella seconda immagine, svitando la vite che la tiene ferma e tirandola fuori dal case in alluminio con attenzione.

Questo pezzo è fissato con del nastro adesivo, quindi non preoccuparti: non puoi rompere niente.

Muovendolo un po' e guidandolo intorno ai cavi, adesso dovresti staccarlo facilmente.

Individua lo spazio rettangolare attraverso il quale passa il cavo grande. Usa un piccolo trapano per renderlo circa 5 mm più largo e 2/3 mm più profondo.

La terza immagine mostra il risultato finale desiderato.

La ragione principale per effettuare questo passaggio è che il dissipatore della Radeon serie 6, occupa più spazio.

Nota: Tutto ciò è necessario SOLO sul modello di fine 2009, il modello del 2010 ha già sufficiente spazio.
