  • Before installing a new display, it's very important to remove all traces of the old adhesive from the frame, while taking special care to remove any small glass fragments.

  • After removing all traces of glue and glass from the frame, clean the adhesion areas with 90% (or higher) isopropyl alcohol and a lint-free cloth or coffee filter. Swipe in one direction only, not back and forth.

  • This helps remove any remaining adhesive residue and preps the surface for the new display.

  • If the frame is bent, or if any glue or glass remnants are left behind, the new display will not mount correctly and may be damaged.

Antes de instalar la nueva pantalla, es muy importante eliminar todos los restos del antiguo adhesivo del marco y tener especial cuidado de quitar cualquier fragmento pequeño de cristal.

Luego de remover todos los restos de adhesivo y cristal del marco, limpia las áreas de adhesión con alcohol isopropílico 90% (o más) y un paño anti-pelusa o filtro de café. Desliza en una dirección solamente, no hacia atrás y adelante.

Esto ayuda a eliminar cualquier resto de adhesivo y prepara la superficie para la nueva pantalla.

Si el marco está doblado o si algún resto de pegamento o de cristal queda sin limpiar, la pantalla nueva no se montará correctamente y podría dañarse.
