Remove the Top Case

  • Flip your computer back over and open the display. Using a sputter, opening tool, guitar pick, or card pry up on the top case between the frame and itself.

  • Follow all the way around the top case gently, until the keyboard is able to be lifted freely.

  • NOTE* Do not lift the keyboard off until the next step in which we pull the ribbon cable connections.

  • Using your spudger, or prying tool lift the releases for each ribbon cable. *Be cautious when removing and handling ribbon cables as they are very fragile.

  • Lastly, remove the last two ribbon cables located at the top of the keyboard.

Retira la carcasa superior

Dale la vuelta a tu computadora y abre la pantalla. Con un chisporroteo, una herramienta de apertura, una púa de guitarra o una tarjeta, levanta la carcasa superior entre el marco y él mismo.

Sigue todo el camino alrededor de la carcasa superior con cuidado, hasta que el teclado pueda levantarse libremente.

NOTA * No levantes el teclado hasta el siguiente paso en el que tiramos de las conexiones del cable plano.

Con un spudgerde plástico o una herramienta de palanca, levante los disparadores de cada cable plano. * Ten cuidado al retirar y manipular cables planos, ya que son muy frágiles

Por último, retira los dos últimos cables planos ubicados en la parte superior del teclado.
