Disconnecting ribbon connectors don't need a lot of force to be done. Like always, be gentle with all of the components that you're working with.
Use the iFixit pry tool to lift up the black tab (pointed to by red arrows).
Once the black tab is flipped up the ribbon connector can be pulled out.
