  • Flip the phone over.

  • Push an opening pick slowly and firmly down the right edge of the battery (which should be warm). Slide it slightly back and forth to slice through the adhesive.

  • Be careful not to snag the white antenna cable running along the edge of the battery while you are push down on the pick.

  • If you are having a hard time getting the opening pick under the battery, heat and re-apply an iOpener as instructed in the previous step.

  • You can also apply some high concentration isopropyl alcohol to the edge in order to help weaken the adhesive.

  • Once you have loosened the right side of the battery from the case, leave an opening pick in place to prevent the adhesive from re-adhering.

Retournez le téléphone.

Poussez lentement et fermement un médiator le long du bord droit de la batterie (qui doit être chaud). Faites-le glisser légèrement d'avant en arrière pour découper l'adhésif.

Veillez à ne pas endommager le câble blanc de l'antenne qui se situe sur le bord de la batterie lorsque vous appuyez sur le médiator.

Si vous avez du mal à faire passer le médiator sous la batterie, chauffez et appliquez à nouveau un iOpener comme indiqué à l'étape précédente.

Vous pouvez également appliquer de l'alcool isopropylique à haute concentration sur le bord afin d'affaiblir l'adhésif.

Une fois que vous avez détaché le côté droit de la batterie du boîtier, laissez un médiator en place pour éviter que l'adhésif ne se recolle.
