  • Flip the phone over.

  • Push an opening pick slowly and firmly down the right edge of the battery (which should be warm). Slide it slightly back and forth to slice through the adhesive.

  • Be careful not to snag the white antenna cable running along the edge of the battery while you are push down on the pick.

  • If you are having a hard time getting the opening pick under the battery, heat and re-apply an iOpener as instructed in the previous step.

  • You can also apply some high concentration isopropyl alcohol to the edge in order to help weaken the adhesive.

  • Once you have loosened the right side of the battery from the case, leave an opening pick in place to prevent the adhesive from re-adhering.

Da la vuelta al teléfono.

Empuja una púa de apertura lenta y firmemente hacia el borde derecho de la batería (que debe estar caliente). Deslízalo ligeramente hacia adelante y hacia atrás para cortar el adhesivo.

Ten cuidado de no enganchar el cable blanco de la antena que corre a lo largo del borde de la batería mientras empujsa hacia abajo la púa.

Si tienes dificultades para colocar la púa de apertura debajo de la batería, caliente y vuelve a aplicar un iOpener como se indica en el paso anterior.

También puedes aplicar un poco de alcohol isopropílico de alta concentración en el borde para ayudar a debilitar el adhesivo.

Una vez que hayas aflojado el lado derecho de la batería de la caja, deja una púa de apertura en su lugar para evitar que el adhesivo se vuelva a adherir.
