Separating the Assembly

  • After creating enough of a gap between the screen and the phone, you will see that the LCD is held to the housing with very strong adhesive, a Samsung favorite.

  • As much as we tried, we could not prevent the already cracked screen from cracking further. It is possible to separate the screen assembly from the phone, but you'll need some heat and patience to slowly work it loose (proven by @cclarkcarroll, http://pixady.com/image/sm9/) These screens are EXTREMELY thin and fragile!

  • Gloves are advised as these thin LCDs can be nasty when they start to shatter.

  • The digitizer will likely separate from the LCD during removal so do not panic.

Séparation de l'assemble

Après avoir créé suffisamment d'espace entre l'écran et le téléphone, vous verrez que l'écran LCD est tenu sur le boîtier avec un adhésif très fort, un favori de Samsung.

Autant que nous avons essayé, nous n'avons pas pu empêcher l'écran déjà fissuré de craquer davantage. Il est possible de séparer l'ensemble de l'écran du téléphone, mais vous aurez besoin d'un peu de chaleur et de patience pour le faire fonctionner lentement (prouvé par @cclarkcarroll, http://pixady.com/image/sm9/) Ces écrans sont EXTRÊMEMENT minces et fragile!

Les gants sont conseillés car ces écrans LCD peuvent être désagréables lorsqu'ils commencent à se briser.

Le numériseur se séparera probablement de l'écran LCD pendant le retrait, donc ne paniquez pas.
