  • If you successfully removed both adhesive strips, move on to the next step. Otherwise, you will need to pry the battery from the rear case.

  • Prepare an iOpener and apply it to the back of the rear case, directly over the battery. Alternatively, you can apply heat using a heat gun or hair dryer.

  • After about a minute, remove the iOpener, flip the phone over and use a plastic card to break up any remaining adhesive behind the battery.

  • Avoid bending the battery. Damage to the battery may release dangerous chemicals, and could start a fire.

  • Do not pry under the top third of the battery, you may damage the volume button ribbon cable.

Si removiste con éxito ambas tiras adhesivas, sigue con el siguiente paso. En caso contrario, tendrás que levantar la batería de la caja trasera.

Prepara un iOpener y aplícalo en la parte trasera de la caja trasera directamente sobre la batería. Alternativamente, puedes aplicar calor utilizando una pistola de aire caliente o secador de pelo.

Luego de un minuto, remueve el iOpener, voltea el teléfono y utiliza una tarjeta de plástico para retirar cualquier adhesivo restante detrás de la batería.

Evita doblar la batería ya que se podría dañar y podría perder sustancias químicas peligrosas y prenderse fuego.

No hagas palanca por debajo de la tercera parte superior de la batería ya que podrías dañar el cable plano del botón de volumen.
