  • Capacitor Testing: This will require a digital multimeter with a capacitance testing option.

  • Connect the positive lead of the multimeter to the positive lead of the capacitor, and vice versa for the negative. If the capacitor is functioning the multimeter will give a reading that is similar to the ratings given on the capacitor casing.

  • NOTE: If the capacitor reading is -5% of its given base rating then the capacitor is consider bad.

Test del condensatore: questo richiederà un multimetro digitale con un'opzione di test della capacità elettrica.

Connetti il puntale positivo alla gamba positiva del condensatore (facilmente identificabile da una striscia bianca con il segno - in corrispondenza di essa) ed il puntale positivo alla gamba positiva. Se il condensatore è funzionante, il multimetro darà una lettura simile alla capacità indicata sull'involucro del condensatore.

NOTA: Se la capacità letta dal multimetro dovesse essere minore del 5% di quella indicata, il condensatore è da sostituire.
