  • Capacitor Testing: This will require a digital multimeter with a capacitance testing option.

  • Connect the positive lead of the multimeter to the positive lead of the capacitor, and vice versa for the negative. If the capacitor is functioning the multimeter will give a reading that is similar to the ratings given on the capacitor casing.

  • NOTE: If the capacitor reading is -5% of its given base rating then the capacitor is consider bad.

Prueba de condensador: Este paso requiere un polímetro con capacidad de lectura de condensadores (Faradios)

Conecta el cable positivo del polímetro al positivo del condensador e igual con el negativo. Si el condensador esta en buen estado, el polímetro te mostrará una lectura parecida a la que tiene impresa el condensador en su encapsulado.

NOTA: Si el condensador te da una lectura inferior al 5% de su capacidad, se considera que el condensador esta en mal estado.
