Demontage van de MacBook Pro 13" Touch Bar

  • Much like the Function Keys model, the trackpad in the Touch Bar unit slides out easily after dispatching ten T5 Torx screws.

  • We can also happily report that the trackpads from these respective models are identical, and likely cross-compatible.

  • The cable routing, however, is different to accomodate the modified logic board design. So, if you're planning on replacing a busted trackpad, be sure to hold on to the original flex.

Net als in het Function Keys-model komt het trackpad er in de Touch Bar versie ook makkelijk uitgeschoven na het verwijderen van tien T5 Torx-schroeven.

We zijn ook blij mede te kunnen delen dat de trackpads van deze respectievelijke modellen identiek zijn aan elkaar, en waarschijnlijk dus ook cross-compatibel zijn (wat betekent dat je de een in het andere toestel kan plaatsen en andersom).

De kabelligging is echter wat anders om het gemodificeerde logic board te kunnen huisvesten. Dus als je van plan bent om een kapot trackpad te vervangen, zorg dat je de originele flexkabels behoudt.
