In addition to the six screws, the battery is held in place with an adhesive glue. If this is the first time you've removed the battery, you will need to pry the battery loose from the adhesive.
Use a plastic opening tool to break the adhesive and pry the battery upwards. Do this around the entire perimeter of the battery.
Try to break the adhesive evenly around the battery and make sure not to use too much force in a single location. To avoid puncturing or damaging the battery, go around the battery with the opening tool several times if needed.
Use caution when first inserting the opening tool between the battery and the casing. There is an opening underneath the battery's cable, which protrudes from the black colored corner of the battery, where the prying tool can safely be inserted.
