Remove the back cover

  • Remove the back of the kindle.

  • The back is glued in the middle to the stainless steel battery cover with double sided tape, and attached with 2 tabs at each end. The top and bottom tabs slide into the frame, so if you pull too hard they might break. Once you have unclipped, use a hot air gun on moderate temperature to help release the double sided adhesive.

  • Watch out for static electricity, it might destroy your device. Discharge before you start by holding a radiator or using a strap.

  • Start with opening the back at the sides. Push your knife or tweezers in a bit deeper at the middle and twist them to push the glued cover part from the frame. Don't do this near the side buttons as you might cut the buttons' ribbon cable.

Retira la cubierta trasera

Quita la placa trasera del kindle.

La parte trasera esta unida a la cubierta de la batería de acero inoxidable con cinta de doble cara, y con 2 pestañas a cada lado. Estas en el superior e inferior, se deslizan en el marco, jalar muy fuerte puede romperlas. Una vez desenganchadas, usa una pistola de aire caliente en temperatura media para liberar el adhesivo doble cara.

Ten cuidado de la electricidad estática, puede destruir tu dispositivo. Descarga antes de empezar a utilizar un radiador o un strap.

Empieza abriendo la parte trasera en los lados. Empuja tu navaja o pinzas un poco más profundo en el centro y gíralas para empujar la cubierta pegada fuera del marco. No hagas esto cerca del botones laterales ya que podrías cortar el cable plano de los botonoes.
