  • Turn the laptop so the keyboard and screen are facing up. Once you do that, pry the keyboard open with a plastic spudger.

  • Next, gently detach the laptop from the main frame. Be careful not to break the plastic that connects the keyboard to the laptop itself.

  • Unscrew all the the screws labeled F8 as well as the 0.21 inch screws inside of the keyboard area.
