  • A hard reset will erase all current data on the device. This should only be done if a soft reset has not solved your problem.

  • A hard reset is done by simultaneously holding down the power button while also pressing the reset button on the back with a paper clip like you did for the soft reset. After a few seconds the Palm logo should appear, when it does, release the power button.

  • If applicable, you can restore any data previously synchronized with your PC through the HotSync operation of the device.
