  • If your new optical drive already has brackets on it, you'll only need to transfer the data cable to your new drive. Skip the bracket removal steps below.

  • Remove the two silver Phillips screws securing the mounting bracket to the left side of the optical drive.

  • Rotate the drive and disconnect the orange ribbon cable from the optical drive.

Si tu nueva unidad óptica ya tiene soportes, solo tendrás que transferir el cable de datos a su nueva unidad. Omite los pasos de eliminación del soporte a continuación.

Retira los dos tornillos plateados Phillips que sujetan el soporte de montaje al lado izquierdo de la unidad óptica.

Gira la unidad y desconecta el cable naranja de la unidad óptica.
