Als de motorkap niet automatisch omhoog blijft staan, gebruik dan één hand om de motorkap tijdelijk open te houden terwijl je de motorkap vastzet met de steunstang:

Til een uiteinde van de steunstang omhoog of naar buiten om deze los te maken van de voorkant van het motorcompartiment.

Zwaai het uiteinde van de steunstang omhoog en schuif deze in de uitsparing aan de onderkant van de kap.

Zorg ervoor dat de kap goed vastzit voordat je deze loslaat met je andere hand, anders kan hij vallen en je verwonden.
