Disconnect Fan Cable

  • Caution: Be careful not to touch the capacitor wires as you work. If possible, use a capacitor discharge probe to safely rid the capacitors of dangerous charges.

  • Using the point end of your plastic spudger, or your fingers, gently pull back the tab holding the fan power cord in place.

  • Gently pull the cable up and away from the circuit board.

  • If you look inside the yellow box, top left corner, you will notice a grey color on top of a capacitor. I'm not positive what this substance is but it has a consistency of sticky tack, if you remember playing with that as a kid. When I first opened the power supply the fan power cable was pressed into it rendering it stuck. Gently pull the cable up

Débrancher le câble du ventilateur

Attention à ne pas toucher les fils des condensateurs pendant votre travail. Si possible, utilisez une sonde pour décharger les condensateurs en tout sécurité.

En utilisant la pointe d’une spatule (spudger) en plastique, ou vos doigts, faites reculer avec soin le dispositif en plastique retenant le câble d'alimentation du ventilateur.

Retirez le câble du ventilateur du circuit imprimé.

Si vous regardez le carré jaune en haut de la photo, vous verrez une couleur grise sur un condensateur. Je ne suis pas sûr de ce que c’est, mais ça a la consistance de la pâte à fixe. Lorsque j’ai ouvert le bloc d’alimentation, le câble du ventilateur était fixé dessus. Retirez-le avec soin.
