  • Turn the oil filter counter-clockwise by hand until it comes off the engine's oil filter threads.

  • If the filter is too tight to turn by hand, use an oil filter wrench.

  • Lower the oil filter out of the engine bay with the threaded end facing up to reduce the amount of oil spilled.

  • Place the oil filter into the oil drain pan with its open end facing down.

  • Wipe off the engine's oil filter gasket face with a clean rag or towel.

Gire a mano el filtro de aceite en sentido antihorario hasta que se desprenda de las roscas del filtro de aceite del motor.

Si el filtro está demasiado apretado para girarlo a mano, utilice una llave para filtros de aceite.

Baje el filtro de aceite fuera del vano motor con el extremo roscado hacia arriba para reducir la cantidad de aceite derramado.

Coloque el filtro de aceite en la bandeja de drenaje de aceite con el extremo abierto hacia abajo.

Limpie la cara de la junta del filtro de aceite del motor con un trapo o toalla limpios.
