  • Locate and remove the orange-ringed dipstick.

  • Wipe down the dipstick with a rag or towel to remove oil and ensure a valid reading.

  • Reinsert the dipstick all the way, then remove it.

  • Oil should cover the end of the dipstick, up to the second hole. The top hole is the maximum oil level, and the bottom is the minimum.

  • Your reading may seem a little high after adding 5 quarts of oil, but oil has not yet seeped into all the nooks and crannies. For a more accurate reading, start the car, drive it around for a bit, park on a flat surface, then retake the reading.

  • You can add or remove oil as you see fit.

Localiza y saca la varilla medidora con anillo naranja.

Limpia la varilla medidora con un trapo o una toalla para eliminar el aceite y garantizar una lectura válida.

Vuelve a insertar la varilla medidora por completo y luego retírala.

El aceite debe cubrir el extremo de la varilla medidora, hasta el segundo orificio. El orificio superior es el nivel máximo de aceite y el inferior es el mínimo.

Tu lectura puede parecer un poco alta después de agregar 5 cuartos de aceite, pero el aceite aún no se ha filtrado en todos los rincones. Para obtener una lectura más precisa, enciende el automóvil, conduce un poco, estaciona en una superficie plana y luego vuelve a tomar la lectura.

Puedes añadir o quitar aceite como mejor te parezca.
