  • Make sure you are wearing clean gloves, then dip your finger into the new oil and evenly rub a thin layer of oil around the rubber gasket of the new oil filter.

  • Use a clean rag or towel to wipe down the oil filter threads and contact area on the engine.

  • Use your hand to screw the new filter back into place over the oil filter threads. Hand-tighten it until it is snug.

  • Remove the oil drain pan and any other tools from underneath the car.

Assurez-vous de porter des gants propres, puis plongez un doigt ganté dans l'huile neuve et frottez uniformément une fine couche d'huile fraîche autour du joint en caoutchouc du nouveau filtre à huile.

Utilisez un chiffon ou une serviette propre pour essuyer les filetages du filtre à huile et la surface de contact du moteur.

Utilisez votre main pour remettre le nouveau filtre en place sur le filetage du filtre à huile. Serrez-le à la main jusqu'à ce qu'il soit bien serré.

Retirez le bac de vidange d'huile et tout autre outil situé sous la voiture.
