  • The engine oil filter is located on the back of the engine, almost directly above the drain plug.

  • Move the oil drain pan so that it is underneath the oil filter.

  • Unscrew the oil filter by turning it counterclockwise until it comes free of the threads on the engine. Remove the filter with the open end facing up (it still has oil in it), and then place it face down into the oil drain pan.

  • If the oil filter is too tight to remove by hand, use an oil filter wrench to loosen it about 3/4 of a turn.

El filtro de aceite del motor está ubicado en la parte trasera del motor, casi directamente encima del tapón de drenaje.

Mueve la bandeja de drenaje de aceite para que quede debajo del filtro de aceite.

Desenrosca el filtro de aceite girándolo en sentido antihorario hasta que se suelte de las roscas del motor. Quita el filtro con el extremo abierto hacia arriba (todavía tiene aceite) y luego colócalo boca abajo en la bandeja de drenaje de aceite.

Si el filtro de aceite está demasiado apretado para quitarlo con la mano, usa una llave para filtros de aceite para aflojarlo aproximadamente 3/4 de vuelta.
