  • Allow the oil to drain until it slows to a drip.

  • Replace the drain plug. Screw it in as far as possible by hand, then use the 17 mm socket or box end wrench to finish tightening it.

  • Only tighten the drain plug until it is snug. Over-tightening the oil drain plug can strip the threads or crack the oil pan.

  • Wipe off the area around the oil drain plug with a clean rag or towel.

Permite que el aceite se drene hasta que se reduzca a un goteo.

Reemplaza el tapón de drenaje. Atorníllalo en la medida de lo posible con la mano, luego usa la llave de cubo o de cabeza de caja de 17 mm para terminar de apretarlo.

Solo aprieta el tapón de drenaje hasta que quede ajustado. Apretar demasiado el tapón de drenaje de aceite puede dañar las roscas o romper el cárter de aceite.

Limpia el área alrededor del tapón de drenaje de aceite con un trapo o toalla limpia.
