Adding New Oil

  • Pull the oil cap/dipstick off of the oil tank.

  • Some models will require the cap to be twisted first, then pulled. If you are not sure what model you have, work carefully and gently, making sure to not damage anything.

  • Using your funnel, slowly pour 3 quarts of oil into your oil tank.

  • Although the Evolution engine holds up to 3.5 quarts after a rebuild or when filled new, only 3 get replaced during the oil change.

  • Use the oilcap/dipstick to check your engine oil level (holding the bike level if you have been working with your side-stand). You oil level should be kept between the 2 dipstick marks. After refilling with 3 quarts it should be right to the top one.

Añadiendo aceite nuevo

Retira el tapón/Varilla medidora del tanque de aceite.

En algunos modelos es necesario girar antes de retirar el tapón.Si no estás seguro de que modelo es el tuyo, procede con cuidado, delicadamente, Asegurándote de no dañar ninguna pieza.

Usando un embudo, vierte con cuidado tres cuartos (de galón) de aceite en el tanque.

Aunque el motor de la Evolution admite 3.5 cuartos de fabrica, solo podremos reemplazar 3 durante el cambio de aceite.

Usa el tapón/Varilla de medición para asegurarte del nivel de aceite del motor (Manteniendo la moto nivelada,si has estado trabajando con la pata de cabra).Normalmente, tu nivel de aceite debería estar en medio de las dos marcas de la varilla.Tras este cambio de aceite, el nivel debería estar muy cerca de la marca superior.
