Preparation

  • Warning Risk of Electric Shock: Unplug the Time Capsule and disconnect the power cable and all other cables before you begin. Be aware that internal capacitors can retain a dangerous charge.

  • Tools used: Metal and plastic spudgers, Torx T8 screwdriver and tweezers (optional). The thin wooden chopstick shown on the right is for poking around inside the far end of the device, so it needs to be longer than the height of the Time Capsule.

  • You'll also need a scalpel, or small sharp craft knife, And a Airport time capsule

Vorbereitung

Warnung Stromschlaggefahr : Trenne die Time Capsule komplett vom Netz und ziehe das Netzkabel und alle anderen Kabel, bevor du beginnst an dem Gerät zu arbeiten. Sei dir bewusst, dass die internen Kondensatoren eine gefährliche Ladung beibehalten können.

Verwendete Werkzeuge: Metall- und Plastikspudger, Torx T8 Schraubendreher und Pinzetten (optional). Der dünne Holzstab rechts im Bild wird benötigt, um innen im Gerät herumzustochern und muss dementsprechend länger sein als die Höhe der Time Capsule.

Außerdem benötigst du ein Skalpell oder Bastelmesser. Und eine Airport Time Capsule.
