  • Turn the iPod over and peel the orange click wheel ground tab up from the metal framework.

  • Be sure to detach only the thin ground tab, not the wider click wheel ribbon.

  • Carefully push the logic board away from the metal framework. Use the squares as indicators of where to push. The logic board is secured to the framework with mild adhesive; be careful not to bend the logic board by pushing too much in any one spot.

  • The framework should now be free from the rest of the iPod.

Drehe den iPod um und löse die orangene Erdungslasche vom Metallrahmen ab.

Achte darauf, dass du nur die dünne Erdungslasche ablöst, nicht das breitere Flachbandkabel zum Klickrad.

Schiebe das Logic Board vorsichtig weg vom Metallrahmen. Die Quadrate zeigen dir, wo du drücken kannst. Das Logic Board ist mit dem Metallrahmen leicht verklebt; achte darauf, dass du das Logic Board nicht zu stark verbiegst, indem du zu sehr an einer Stelle drückst.

Der Rahmen sollte nun vom Rest des iPods gelöst sein.
