  • If your replacement headphone jack includes the white plastic hold switch, simply reinstall the headphone jack. If your replacement part does not include the plastic hold switch, follow the next steps to transfer the plastic hold switch to your new headphone jack.

  • If you're just trying to remove the rear panel, you can skip Steps 15 and 16.

  • Remove the single Phillips screw nearest to the hold switch. Note: You may find adhesive holding the back of the screw in place.

  • Lift the plastic portion of the Hold switch away from the orange ribbon cable.

  • Ensure that the black notch lines up with the gray slider during reassembly of the switch (see picture 2).

Si tu conector de auriculares de repuesto incluye el interruptor de retención de plástico blanco, vuelve a instalar el conector de auriculares. Si tu pieza de repuesto no incluye el interruptor de retención de plástico, sigue los siguientes pasos para transferir el interruptor de retención de plástico a tu nuevo conector para auriculares.

Si solo estás tratando de quitar el panel posterior, puedes omitir los pasos 15 y 16.

Retira el único tornillo Phillips más cercano al interruptor de retención. Nota: Es posible que encuentres adhesivo que sujeta la parte posterior del tornillo en su lugar.

Levanta la parte de plástico del interruptor de retención para separarlo del cable plano naranja.

Asegúrate de que la muesca negra se alinea con el deslizador gris durante el montaje del interruptor (vea la imagen 2).
