Save the headlights from excessive use

  • This procedure involves turning on and off the headlights repeatedly, which which can reduce the HID headlights' mean lifetime before failure. As a precursor, consider removing the 15A left & right low headlight fuses from the under-hood fuse box, positions 1 and 6. (Refer to your Owners Manual for instructions, or an iFixit guide.)

  • Be sure to reinstall the low beam headlight fuses before driving the vehicle.

Riduci l'uso dei fari

Questa procedura prevede di accendere e spegnere più volte i fari; ciò può ridurre il ciclo di vita delle lampade HID. Per evitarlo, puoi togliere i fusibili da 15A delle lampade destra e sinistra anteriori nelle posizioni 1 e 6 della scatola fusibili sotto il cofano. (Segui le istruzioni nel manuale utente del veicolo o una guida su iFixit).

Ricordati, una volta concluso il test, di rimettere i fusibili al loro posto prima di guidare nuovamente il veicolo.
