Modifying Power Adapter

  • Make sure that the power adapter is disconnected from the wall outlet and MacBook.

  • Use a pen to make a mark on the MagSafe cable about 4" (10 cm) from the MagSafe connector.

  • Use a pair of wire cutters or scissors to cut the cable at the mark you made about 4 inches from the MagSafe connector. Set aside the MagSafe connector wire for later.

  • Although the wires inside the cable are copper, they may damage some scissors. We recommend using wire cutters if possible.

Modificación del adaptador de corriente

Asegúrate de que el adaptador de corriente esté desconectado de la toma de corriente y de la MacBook.

Usa un bolígrafo para hacer una marca en el cable MagSafe a aproximadamente 4" (10 cm) del conector MagSafe.

Usa un par de cortadores de alambre o tijeras para cortar el cable en la marca que hiciste a unas 4 pulgadas del conector MagSafe. Deja a un lado el cable del conector MagSafe para más adelante.

Aunque los hilos del interior del cable son de cobre, pueden dañar algunas tijeras. Recomendamos usar cortadores de alambre si es posible.
