  • Position the computer face down, resting the CRT on an ESD mat or other soft surface.

  • With a flathead screwdriver or coin, turn the colored latch to open the access door. The antenna and AirPortCard will be visible when you open the access door.

  • If the AirPort card is not installed, a clear protective antenna cap will be attached to the antenna.

  • Remove the AirPort Card by lifting the card straight up and out of the card guides and connector.

  • Disconnect the antenna from the small hole AirPort Card.

Placez l'ordinateur face en bas, en le faisant reposer sur un tapis anti-décharge électrostatique ou tout autre surface douce et amortissante.

Avec un tournevis à lame plate ou une pièce de monnaie, tournez la grosse vis en plastique colorée dans le sens anti-horaire pour libérer la trappe d'accès sur le fond de la machine. L'antenne AirPort et la carte AirPort sont visibles une fois la trappe ouverte (le connecteur sur la carte mère est parallèle à ceux des barrettes mémoires)

Si la carte AirPort n'a pas été initialement installée, vous trouverez un capuchon de protection transparent sur l'antenna.

Enlevez la carte AirPort en la retirant à la verticale des connecteurs, bien droit entre les guides. Attention à ne pas arracher le cable en la sortant trop vite et trop loin.

Il ne vous reste plus qu'à extraire le cable du connecteur sur la carte AirPort.
