Removing the RAM

You're almost there! Now it's just time to remove the RAM itself.
For each RAM stick, there are 2 retention clips that hold the RAM in. To release them, use your hands to pull each of the clips away from the RAM card, and the card will pop up, which then you can pull out of the slot.
To reinstall the RAM, be sure to insert the module at an angle similar to when the cards popped up, with the contacts inside the slot, then gently push them straight down until the retention clips pop back into place.
