Removing the printer hood

  • Unscrew the 7 torx screws. Do not forget the one under the printer label (You have to remove the printer label. Lower right corner).

  • Push the clips at the rear of the LCD panel and pull the LCD panel outwards at the same time. The clips can be felt, but not seen underneath the plastic on which the HP label is visible in the middle picture. A fourth picture would help here.

  • Then, pull the ribbon connected to the LCD panel to disconnect the LCD panel from the printer.

  • Remove the 2 remaining torx screws hidden by the LCD panel

  • See where are clips (Blue arrows)

Quitando la cubierta de la impresora

Quita los 7 tornillos torx. No olvides el que está debajo de la etiqueta de la impresora (tienes que quitar la etiqueta en la esquina inferior derecha.

Empuja los clips de la parte posterior del panel LCD y tira de él hacia fuera al mismo tiempo. Los clips se pueden sentir, pero no ver debajo del plástico en el que la etiqueta de HP es visible en la imagen del medio. Una cuarta foto sería de ayuda.

Luego, tira de la cinta conectada al panel LCD para desconectar el panel LCD de la impresora.

Quita los 2 tornillos torx restantes ocultos por el panel LCD

Fíjate dónde están los clips (flechas azules)
