The hinge cover needs to be removed next. This can be done by using a plastic opening tool.

Take the plastic opening tool and insert it into the grove below the hinge cover.

Firmly leverage the plastic opening tool under the hinge cover and pull up. It should make a popping noise. Repeat these steps on the other hinge.
