How to remove a stuck battery

  • If you're still having trouble removing the battery, apply a few drops of high concentration (90% or higher) isopropyl alcohol under the edge of the battery in the area of the broken adhesive strip(s).

  • Tilt the phone up so the isopropyl alcohol can flow toward the adhesive strip.

  • Hold for 1–2 minutes to allow the isopropyl alcohol to weaken the adhesive.

  • Use an opening pick or the flat end of a spudger to slowly pry up the battery.

Het verwijderen van een vastzittende batterij

Als je moeite hebt met het verwijderen van de batterij kun je er ook voor kiezen op wat druppels isopropyl alcohol (>90%) rondom de batterij toe te dienen. Breng de druppels aan op de plekken waar de kleefstrips zijn afgebroken of niet los komen.

Kantel de telefoon zodat de isopropyl alcohol richting de nog steeds vastzittende kleefstrip kan stromen.

Houd je telefoon gedurende 1-2 minuten zo vast, zodat de alcohol in de lijm kan trekken en deze kan verzwakken.

Gebruik een openingsplectrum of het platte einde van je spudger om de batterij langzaam en zeer voorzichtig omhoog te duwen.
