Chauffe-eau 2 - Vidange de l'eau

  • Pour vidanger le chauffe-eau, il faut dévisser l'anode avec une douille 1 et 1/16 po.

  • Noter qu'il m'a fallu un adaptateur 3/8 à 1/2 pour utiliser la douille avec mes "ratchets"

  • Enlever de la pression en appuyant sur la valve à plusieurs reprises

  • Dévisser l'anode entièrement et laisser l'eau s'écouler entièrement du chauffe-eau

  • Le ruban en téflon sera pour remplacer celui de l'anode au printemps prochain

  • Une fois vide replacez l'anode

Water heater 2 - Water drain

To drain the water heater, the anode must be unscrewed with a 1 and 1/16 inch socket.

Note that I needed a 3/8 to 1/2 adapter to use the socket with my "ratchets"

Release pressure by pressing the valve repeatedly

Unscrew the anode completely and let the water flow completely out of the water heater

The teflon tape will be to replace that of the anode next spring

Once empty replace the anode
