  • Your replacement part may or may not come with the front (sensor) bracket. If it does not, you'll need to transfer it to your new cable.

  • Use the tip of a spudger to flip the "lever" of the ZIF connector (left side in first photo) on the hard drive cable. The connector does not come off, see next instruction.

  • Gently pull the yellow sensor bracket cable out of the ZIF connector (to the right, in the second photo).

  • Use the flat end of a spudger to pry the hard drive cable up off the sensor bracket to which it is adhered.

  • Remove the adhesive backing from your new hard drive cable, stick it onto the sensor bracket, and connect the sensor bracket cable.

  • Many fixers cover the length of the thicker cable in the pair with sections of electrical tape on both sides because it can rub the tiny ridges inside the aluminum case causing a short to the case itself or simply breaking the connection.

Tu parte de remplazo puede o no venir con el retenedor (sensor) frontal. Si no, necesitaras transferirlo a tu nuevo cable.

Usa la punta de un spudger para levantar la "palanca" del conector ZIF (lado izquierdo en la primera foto) en el cable del disco duro. El conector sale, consulte la siguiente instrucción.

Gentilmente tira cable amarillo del soporte del sensor fuera del conector ZIF (hacia la derecha, en la segunda foto).

Usa el lado plano de un spudger para levantar el cable cable del disco duro del soporte del sensor al que esta adherido.

Remueve el protector del adhesivo de tu nuevo cable del disco duro, pégalo en el soporte del sensor, y conecta el cable del soporte del sensor.

Muchos reparadores cubren la longitud del cable mas grueso con cinta aislante en ambos lados porque puede frotar las crestas pequeñas de la carcasa de aluminio causando un corto circuito en la misma carcasa o simplemente romper la conexión.
