To prevent injury, make sure the laptop is unplugged before removing the battery.
To prevent data loss, make sure the laptop has fully shut down before removing the battery.
Pull the switch on the back of laptop in the direction of the arrow.
If done correctly the battery should pop out. Lift the battery to remove it.
