  • Set up your work area.

  • This repair process will get very messy. Do this outside, away from anything valuable.

  • It is nice to have a stable, firm platform to work on. I happened to have a homemade surfboard-shaping stand to work on.

  • Some of the materials you will be working with are hazardous if inhaled or touched. It is highly recommended to wear a mask and a respirator (a basic health one will do), gloves are optional.
