  • In the following steps, you will partially remove the silver bezel attached to the rear panel. If the residual adhesive is not enough to hold it together during reassembly, it may be necessary to apply a light layer of glue around the inner edge of the bezel to keep it secured against the rear panel.

  • Insert the edge of an iPod opening tool into the gap between the silver bezel and the front panel on the volume button side of the phone.

  • Run the edge of the opening tool along the seam to separate the two components. The goal is to lift the silver bezel enough to push the volume button into the rear case.

Lors des prochaines étapes, vous allez retirer partiellement le joint argenté attaché au panneau arrière. Si l'adhésif restant ne suffit pas lors du remontage, il peut s'avérer nécessaire de rajouter une fine couche de colle autour du bord intérieur du joint pour le fixer au panneau arrière.

Insérez le bord d'un outil en plastique dans l'interstice entre le joint argenté et le panneau frontal sur le côté de l'iPhone où se situe le bouton de volume.

Faites glisser l'outil en plastique le long du côté pour séparer les deux composants. Le but est de pouvoir soulever le joint argenté suffisamment pour pousser le bouton de volume à l'intérieur du boîtier arrière.
