  • K-cup insert removed. Clean with hot water as needed.

  • On the bottom of the K-cup insert is a tapered needle that punctures the bottom of the K-cup. On the side of it is a small hole. Use a paper clip (or similar) and insert it in there to remove any scale, coffee grounds etc.

  • Next is to clean the top needle. It is trickier since it is somewhat hard to reach around the sides of the needle. There will be three holes around the needle. Open the Keurig all the way, and again use a paper clip (or similar).

Una vez removido el inserto para cápsulas Keurig realize una limpieza con agua caliente tantas veces se necesite.

En la parte inferior del porta cápsulas Keurig hay una pequeña aguja que perfora las cápsulas cuando insertamos una para preparar café. A un lado encontramos un pequeño orificio. Podemos utilizar un clip o algo similar para remover la suciedad, calcificación o granos de café atorados.

Lo siguiente es limpiar la aguja superior. Es algo complicado debido a que es difícil de alcanzar la superficie de la aguja. Encontramos que esta aguja tiene tres orificios en el cuerpo de la misma. Abra la tapa de la cafetera completamente y utiliza de nuevo un clip o algo similar para destapar los 3 orificios y queden perfectamente limpios.
