Removing the Battery

  • To remove the battery, simply use the provided tab labeled "pull" to separate the battery from the casing. Do not pull the battery all the way out quite yet; there is still the matter of detaching the battery connector.

  • There is a small application of adhesive on the underside of the battery. When lifting the battery away, if you feel a bit of resistance, feel free to press down on the casing to give yourself a bit of leverage.

  • Caution: Be very careful not to puncture the battery in this step or while recycling; doing so can result in the release of dangerous gases and an explosive reaction.

  • Finally, using a spudger, separate the end of the battery connector cable, (held in place by another small application of adhesive and a plastic pin) from the casing.

Retrait de la batterie

Pour retirer la batterie, utilisez simplement la languette fournie étiquetée "pull" pour séparer la batterie du boîtier. Ne retirez pas encore complètement la batterie ; il reste la question de détacher le connecteur de la batterie.

Il y a une petite quantité d'adhésif sur le dessous de la batterie. Lorsque vous soulevez la batterie, si vous sentez un peu de résistance, n'hésitez pas à appuyer sur le boîtier pour vous donner un peu d'effet de levier.

Attention : Faites très attention à ne pas percer la batterie à cette étape ou lors du recyclage ; cela peut entraîner la libération de gaz dangereux et une réaction explosive.

Enfin, à l'aide d'une spatule, séparez l'extrémité de la nappe du connecteur de la batterie (maintenu en place par une autre petite quantité d'adhésif et une broche en plastique) du boîtier.
